The Story<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Arratiarra receives its name from the Arratia Valley<\/strong>, an area that remained quite isolated in rural Bizkaia (Basque Country) until 1902 when the streetcar arrived. As a result, this is one of the last areas where traditional and peculiar costumes survived, immortalized by the photographer Eu- lalia de Abaitua.<\/strong> The menswear stood out with their spectacular jackets, hats and shirts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to war and to the connection with other territories and cultures, the Arratian suit started to disappear. Nowadays we only have the pictures of Eulalia and some exemplary in very delicate state. Based on this documentation, we have created this garment, inspired by the large collars of the Arratian shirts<\/strong> so that you can continue to wear this story.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  • Fabric composition: 100% organic cotton GOTS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Cotton<\/strong> is the most common vegetable fabric. This is due to its many properties. It is a very breathable fiber, and absorbs moisture and sweat. Cotton fabrics are also very soft, resistant and pleasant to the touch.<\/p>\n

    The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)<\/strong> is the world\u2019s leading standard for processing textiles made from organic fibers, which includes ecological and social criteria.<\/p>\n

    Care:<\/strong> Machine wash at 40\u00ba with similar colors. In the first wash the garment may shrink.

    Traceability and Sustainability<\/strong><\/h6>\n

    The organic cotton fabric of this garment has been woven in Barcelona (Catalu\u00f1a, Spain)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    It has been made with love in one of our workshops in Zaragoza, less than 200km from our studio in San Sebastian.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The rest of the elements and trimmings are also locally sourced.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
